A 13-DAYS TOUR IN THAILAND... BETWEEN DISCOVERY AND SEASIDE...
This circuit, unlike the 10-days circuit presented last month, combines both the cultural tours in Bangkok and around Bangkok and an end of stay in Koh Lanta to get a general idea on the seaside side avoiding the big crowds.
We consider that the flight from France (or elsewhere) arrives early in the morning and leaves late at night.
On the first day we expect a visit in the afternoon, some may think that after the trip it would be good to take a good nap…
We opted for a visit in the afternoon for several reasons:
First of all it is still possible for a night flight to get some sleep on the plane.
Then it would be wasting precious time on a short trip by losing a whole afternoon
Finally, with jet lag, it is bad to lie down and sleep when arriving because you will then have a great chance of not being able to sleep during the night and the next day you will be tired and you risk dragging this fatigue and the effect of the shift on Several days.
What are your hotels?
These will be very good hotels of 3 star category at least and with great comfort and this all along the circuit.
All our hotels are approved by our care after we have tested them several times and have evaluated all the most important points for us (comfort, cleanliness, location, quiet etc...)
How do you travel?
The trips are made by land in respect of only a trip time of maximum 3h or they are air travel.
To get around by the road we do it either by private car for a group of 2 people and in van from 3 people.
All our drivers meet safety standards that we set very high (experience, prudent and responsible driving, limited daily driving time, no alcohol). Moreover they must be friendly, helpful and respectful of customers, this is a point to which we attach great importance.
The vehicles are also all regularly checked and perfectly maintained.
As far as air travel is concerned we choose only reliable, on and well-rated companies, security always prevails over price.
Who's your companion?
When you arrive at your departure you will be accompanied by a French guide at least and most of the time of 2 persons (for security reasons).
The assistance is 24 hours, we sleep in the same hotels as you and we are reachable all the time including the night in case of problem.
Also to know that in case of a health problem, we are in contact with a French referral doctor in Bangkok who is able to direct us immediately to the best hospital services and the best specialists according to the symptoms or of pathology.
In the same way we also always have with us the list of doctors approved by the French Embassy.
Also in the Security section, we lend each participant a local mobile phone that allows him if he loses contact us immediately or call the referring doctor (pre-registered number) and this allows everyone to call freely.
What are the stages of this circuit?
We are not going to make a description of the program, this one is available on the site (we give you the link at the end of the article) but just take some strong times and peculiarities.
The first day
The afternoon of your arrival is dedicated to the visit of the Grand Palais, Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho and Wat Arun. All are located next to each other.
We usually have lunch near the Grand Palais where we have our habits in small restaurants where we know we eat very well.
In the evening we will dine in the district of Sathorn, in a restaurant where we can dine outside on a very nice terrace with the opportunity to enjoy very good desserts to finish (the very good desserts are rare in Thailand).
As the restaurant is located not far from the Vertigo bar of the Banyan tree, we will go (open air roof bar on the 59th floor with a view to 360 ° on Bangkok…) a magical moment).
Day 2:
We will leave in the morning to go to the floating market Damnoen Saduak.
This market is impressive because it is located at the level of a swampy area where many families live in houses often on stilts.
A very nice long-tailed boat ride that will not leave you indifferent.
In the evening, back in Bangkok we will dine with a very good buffet, at the top of the Baiyoke tower. Magnificent Spectacle at the top to contemplate the city at 360 ° to 343 m (above the Eiffel Tower...)

In the morning we will visit the house of Jim Thompson, a must-have in Bangkok...
We will not go by car but by boat-bus by the klongs. This is of course voluntary to make you live this experience of the klongs…
In the afternoon we will see the famous golden Buddha of 5.5 tons! And at the same time take a tour in the Chinese market since this golden Buddha is located within it.
In the late afternoon it is planned for 2 hours of rest at the hotel before dinner.
Indeed we always expect a rest to keep a rhythm of tranquility and holiday and so enjoy every moment while being rested.
Dinner is held in Silom village.
It is not by chance because besides the fact that the place is very pleasant, this also allows to eat well and to attend a show of Thai dance during dinner. We gather together in one place and at the same time the culinary culture and the musical and choreographic culture.

We chose a handset with lunch cruise on the Chao Phraya River to make you live the same day of discovery and a different view of Bangkok seen from the river.
The fifth day
The Chatuchak market.
Experiencing Bangkok without visiting or shopping at the Chatuchak market in Bangkok would be an incomplete visit and experience of the Thai capital.
With its 15.000 stands it is a really special place…
The sixth day
